As in a try for baby/woohoo mod? That they can do without you always controlling them? There's one over at MTS.
It's called Autonomous Woohoo + Try for Baby - edited August 2009Yeah, I actually have that mod and it works great. At least it did until I added another mod to my game which apparently conflicts with the autonomous woohoo. Good news is, it doesn't cause any problems with the conflict, it just stops it from working. So, I figured if someone had finally made a proper 'Risky Woohoo' mod, then maybe that one wouldn't conflict. Thanks, though.
Cheers.
Mcbean - edited August 2009Do you know which mod it is that conflicts with it?
- edited August 2009Yes I do; however, apparently naming that mod will most definitely get me banned, and I don't want to take anyone down with me. Let us just say that it raises the rating from T to M because sims who can't marry now can..
Cheers.
Mcbean - edited August 2009Ah ha! I think I found what your talking about. I wonder if it has to do with it being a core mod for some reason? Strange since Woohoo/TFB seems to work with the other core mods.
Hopefully the author will address the problems and fix it. I have it and it worked well (I haven't really played Sims in a little so I'm not sure if it still does) with my core mod. - edited August 2009Yeah, I think it is the fact that its a core mod and there must be some sort of priority issue or some such. Either way, it's a small price to pay and I'm still testing hoping that maybe it just isn't happening because my two sims maybe just aren't in the mood.
Cheers.
Mcbean - edited August 2009Yeah, maybe their lives are just a little too busy for fun right now.
Good luck! - edited August 20090
- edited August 2009Thank you you two this thread was very helpful. Lurking does pay off sometimes. I was able to get a question answered and get a mod I have really been wanting. But, with the banhammer falling like crazy lately I have been to chicken to ask.
Cookies to both of you. - edited August 20090

I downloaded that autonomous woohoo mod a few days back and have been wondering why throwing my sims (two romantic couples in the same house, no less) at each other hasn't resulted in anything interesting yet.
I have core mods too, but they're less 'people who couldn't get married now can' and more 'I would like story progression to work, please'.
Darn. Guess that explains it. - edited August 2009I seem to have jumped onto the CC and mod band wagon with this game. With TS2 I was always too afraid to add mods for fear of messing up the game or my computer. With TS3 I'm enjoying all the CC and some of the mods as they really enhance my game. I don't know if it is the different game style or the new computer I have that has made me comfortable enough to enjoy it. Or maybe the fac that TS2 was my intor to the Sims that made me heistate. I'm just glad I got oveer it.
I'll have to lurk your posts more often to get some good info. - edited August 2009Will this Autonomous mod work on Sims that I have moved out of my house and into their own?
Example: My child reaches Ya and I marry them off and then move the new couple to their own house, but do not make them active I leave them to story progression. Will they have kids on their own now with this mod? - edited August 2009Hrm.

AwesomeMod (if that is what you are refering to) works fine with Autonomous Woohoo. I believe that it's the mods that change the nature of base game woohoo dynamics that conflict. I would just give them time if you are not running any of woohoo changing mods, they most likely will eventually get down. I've found that (as long as they are friends) if you make one relax on the bed, soon thereafter the other will join them and if the mood is good, you are go for woohoo.
Cheers.

When I was messing around with it, I would load up a few flirty interactions and see where that would take me. It resulted in a woohoo/tfb a few times. However, I'm one of those people that really need to control every aspect of my sims life, which is why it doesn't really come in handy to me - edited August 2009Will this Autonomous mod work on Sims that I have moved out of my house and into their own?

Yes, but not really because of the Autonomous Woohoo Mod. Story Progression should handle this; however, base game Story Progression can be, shall we say, wonky at times. So, they're having children is not a definite.
Cheers.

Naw, the autonomous woohoo mod is just for active sims. The TFB version also allows your sims to Try For Baby on their own. Personally, that's a little too much autonomy for me.
Sims not in your active household will be left to the whims of story progression, which is pretty broken as of version 1.3 and 1.4. - edited August 2009Well that would explain why none of my adult kids had children of their own until I started making sure the wife was pregant before I moved them out. They really need to fix the story progression problems.

Oh yes, I tried that several times with both my couples. There were also a few instances in which they'd go flirt each other up on their own. They'd get to 'Extremely irresistible' and then wander off to go do their own thing again.
I like my sims' autonomy, personally. Autonomous TFB is too much for me, but I certainly don't mind my couples tumbling into bed now and then without my sayso. - edited August 2009Well that would explain why none of my adult kids had children of their own until I started making sure the wife was pregant before I moved them out. AwesomeMod will do this, though I've not used it. I would look into it if you are unhappy with the way Story Progression affects your sims (like you've described). Many people seem to be very pleased with it.
Cheers.
Mcbean - edited September 2011Hi everyone!
I, also, am glad to have searched through the forums for this topic before repeating the same thing again in an entirely new forum. Thank you for adressing this issue.
I think the autonomous woohoo mod is great for it's 'risky' element, thus adding a touch of realism to something which the original makes, frankly, a bit cartoony.
But I can't find any info on the download webpage about which expansion packs this mod would be compatible with. See, I'm trying to be very economical (I'm a frugal sim in life), and only buy the expansion packs once the price drops to something reasonable. Hence, I only have Sims 3, World Adventures, Ambitions, and Fast Lane Stuff pack. Is this mod compatible?
Thanks! - edited September 2011If you are talking about Twallan's mod, it is compatible by patch level not Expansion pack. If you are fully patched, you want the most recent update on the mod.0
- edited September 2011I used the mod at MTS for a while, and all my Sims would just relax on the beds. No woohoo, no try for baby, nada. I replaced it with Twallan's mod, and it works much better. Plus it's configurable if you're making a free love hippie commune.

It seems like these days with every new sims pack comes a new way to woohoo, like with waterfall woohoo from Island Living, we’ve gotten a new woohoo location in The Sims 4: Discover University.

Our sims are now able to shower and woohoo at the same time, you can even try for baby in the shower. Now, it may seem ridiculous for two sims to shower together in those small one tile showers, but it will do wonders for your sim’s lives.
We’re all busy. We have to fill our sim’s needs one by one, but why not get their social, hygiene, and fun need up at the same time? It’s the perfect situation! Shower woohoo can save you so much time.
How to Shower Woohoo
The first step toward any type of woohoo is to make sure that your two sims have a good enough romantic relationship to be able to woohoo in general.
To get them to a point where this is possible, you need to keep doing romantic interactions back to back until they are able to have their first kiss. You aren’t able to woohoo until you’ve had this kid, regardless of how high your romance bar is.
After your first kiss, you may need a few more interactions before being able to shower woohoo, but if you’ve kissed you’re only a matter of seconds away! Crossover 15 0 – run windows apps on your mac.
Sims 4 Woohoo With Anyone Mod 4
The option to shower woohoo should appear in the romance interactions menu when you click on your target sim, or you can see it by clicking on the shower you’d like to woohoo in.
Your sims will quickly run up to the shower, kiss in front of it, then fall in completely clothed. While they’re in the shower their fun, hygiene and social needs will all improve, so this is a great way to deal with tons of their needs at once.

Note: You can’t woohoo in the new open showers that came with Discover University.
Final Thoughts
Sims 4 Extreme Woohoo Mod
Having the option now to shower woohoo is going to make the game so much better since we can accomplish so much more in the day if we can woohoo and get clean at the same time! Thanks to the sims team for adding this, we really wanted it.
